Day 2 at Mount cardigan trip

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!", Ellie's alarm goes off Katelyn screams her pants off. katelyn asked what the heck is there a fire or something. We stopped katlyn by shushing her and throwing pillows at her. After she was done screaming we started giggling and laughing. Then we heard a knock on our door "wake up girls you have got five minutes to get downstairs for breakfast or else no breakfast for you". We all looked at each other with big eyes. And 45 seconds later we were out of our beds in our clothes and already halfway down the stairs. We had eggs and bacon for breakfast with orange juice and water. After we were done breakfast they made everyone go up to the build your own sandwich bar and make there own sandwich for lunch. With also came with a cookie, granola bar, and an apple. When we were done that process we packed our hiking bags with water, our sketch book, and our lunch for the day. On the way up to cardigan we decided to play some games in the woods, an example of that is when we played find the close pin. It's where we all close our eyes and TJ would hide the close pin, and whoever finds it goes and stands by TJ without saying anything. When we reached the summit of cardigan it was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. We could look for miles and miles out over other regions and mountains. There was a lot of wind at the top but we were able to take some really cool pictures. After we were done taking pictures and doing line transects we headed over to firescrew then did another line transect and sketched then went down firescrew to go back to the lodge. When we got back we went upstairs changed out of our clothes then came back down stairs and sat on the couch to talk and laugh with friends. When dinner was called everybody rushed to the tables. We had lasagna with garlic bread and salad it was really good. After dinner we had dessert which was ice cream sundaes those were also really good to. When everybody was done eating our group was on cleanup duty, it's where your whole hiking group cleans up all the plates, cleans the floor, and wipes down all the tables. It's actually quite fun. When we were done doing that we were told to get really warm clothes on because we were going out to the firepit to sit by the fire to sing camp songs and listen to scary stories. The AMC guides told everyone that their group had to create some sort of skit about why the 6th graders should come to cardigan next year. After the fire we came inside and went upstairs to get our pjs on, when we came back down we were to sit on the couch and listen to Mr. Woolner stories he read aloud to us every night before we went to bed. When he was done with his stories we went upstairs brushed our teeth and talked in bed. After a few minutes we all were out with a blink of an eye.
